ok this was sorta working yesterday, now its very frustrating. is anyone out there having luck with this module? i follow exactly the procedure outlined in the tessel.io/start tutorial, modify the gprs.js to use my phone number, and it worked about 4 times. then i added external power supply because it kept powering itself off. so now it stays on all the time. but once i run the gprs script it fails with a long message:
'Chain broke on AT+CMGS ="my phone number"', type : 'Error', name: 'Error', stack: 'stack traceback:
/app/nodemodules/gprs-sim900/index.js:207: in function 'f'
/app/nodemodules/grps-sim900/index.js:193: in function 'temp'
/app/nodemodules/gprs-sim900/postmaster.js:152: in function 'reply'

/app/nodemodules/gprs-sim900/packetizerr.js:152: in function '?'

in function '
AND forever after i cannot even talk to the module .. no response to "AT" , nothing..just
message: 'no reply after 10000 ms to message "at", type: 'timeout', etc etc etc
so its like the interface between the Tessel and GPRS is totally broken at this point.. if i reset / power cycle it still does not work
any ideas??? is this hardware stable at all??
