I'm in active communication with Maestro at this point. JFYI: Maestro's engineers have proposed 15 minutes as a "reasonable amount of time to achieve lock", but my sense is that most of you are unable to lock on, period, so relaxing this standard seems superfluous to me. You'll learn more as I do.
Nope. If you can see the sky then a functioning GPS module should be able to get a lock regardless of where you are in the world.
I agree. If it's any consolation, the cost for replacing a part that's DOA is on us, not on you.
