First of all, I would like to thank you guys for bringing this dream of yours so close to reality. I know I am excited to start playing with my own dreams for the Tessel. As I await my shiney new Tessel, I have signed up on the forums and begun to read through the documentation while I dream of the things I will be able to do with it.
I have noticed that there is SSL enabled on the main site. Obviously this would be an the center of attention with security. I would like to ask how long it will be before you will enable SSL on the forums. This I would consider to the next point of interest for security. I did try forcing the https to see if there was say a certificate setup but not being redirected to. I ended up with a certificate issued to "ip-10-165-16-188.ec2.internal". I am assuming this has been used for internal testing or maybe a default configuration of the server and as I am unfamiliar with your host, I cannot tell which.
I realize that you guys have been pretty busy with the manufacturing and development as well as with setting up the new office, but I think this could be a very important thing. Especially if we have people communicating from less than secure and untrusted networks.
