Hello everyone, i'm new to this forum and i have some straight-on hot questions!
i've been working with arduino for years now and the time has come for some commercial projects, though i can't say i'm satisfied with it. partly because there aren't many touch screen modules out there (capacitive) and mostly because of the libraries licences that the most useful ones are GPL and require any projects to be open source (not that commercial) so after months of writing drivers for SD cards and touch screens, i decided it was time to move on to another development board. so the question is:
can i use tessel as it is now for commercial products? if yes, what are the limitations in code use? what is the licence policy of everything related to tessel (software/hardware)?
i'm mostly interested in: SD card functionality, LCD screen with capacitive touch screen support, i2c communication with some external GPIO expanders.
i'd appreciate any suggestions! happy new year from greece!
